Vegetables for value...

...is speaker Rodney Tibbs’s topic at at the West Bergholt Gardeners Association meeting at 7.30pm on Monday 19 March in the Orpen Memorial Hall.

Today the enthusiasm for growing vegetables is as strong as ever, motivated by an appreciation of the sheer quality and taste of fresh home grown produce and supported by the knowledge that it is cutting down on carbon emissions.

Rodney, who’s been growing vegetables for over fifty years, will be looking at the most rewarding vegetables to grow and the many different ways of growing them.
