The re-elected president, Pat Moran, welcomed members to the Christmas meeting. New officers are Bea Girkin, ,vice-president and Rachel Colley, secretary. Marie Fitz-John remains as minute secretary. A plant was presented to retiring secretary Clarice Chittenden in appreciation of all her hard work.
The subscriptions for 2010, payable on 6 January, will be £29.50 of which £3 pays for members' copy of Essex News and the W I Life magazine.
A coach will be provided for the Birthday lunch on 9 February leaving the Orpen Memorial Hall at 11.45am.
Invitations have been sent to other W I's to join our March meeting which is a Fashion Show.
Following the Christmas meal, Touch and Go entertained and a big thanks were given to the committee for providing such delicious food.
