First Responders report interest growing
The First Responders have started the year with a fantastic response to the December article which featured in the Village Bulletin about their work and have had several calls from potential new volunteers which is great news. They would like to encourage as many people as possible to go along to one of their meetings or give the co-ordinator, Annie, a call for an informal chat as they can never have too many volunteers - the rota is still not full!
The group also had a warm welcome from the villages WI this week when they gave a short talk on their work.
So all-in-all they couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2009.
